A licence to use the app, for yourself, on as many of your own devices as you like. It does not expire. You can use it for your own work, including work you are paid for.

What you may not do is resell it, share your licence with other people, or redistribute the app itself. A licence covers a person, not a team — if several people need it, each needs their own.

Concretely, here is what we are committing to. Your licence has no end date and no renewal. Every update to that app is included at no extra cost, for as long as we develop it. If we ever stop developing an app, the version you have keeps working — we do not switch off software people have bought.

And here are the honest limits, both of them. We cannot guarantee that these websites will be served forever, because no one can. And the apps do check that your licence is real — not every time you open one, but they do check.

We would rather write that down than let you find it on day 15. If you need an app that never phones home at all, this is the limit to weigh before you buy.

Some apps can be rented weekly instead of bought. A rental gives you the same app for as long as it is paid for, and stops when it is not. It is deliberately poor value compared with owning — it exists for people who need something for a fortnight, not as our preferred way to sell.

After five paid weeks, you can buy the lifetime licence for half price, and the weeks you have already paid are what earn that.

All Access is a single licence covering every app in the catalogue, including apps that do not exist yet — when we ship a new one, it appears in your account without another payment. Its price rises as the catalogue grows. Whatever you paid is what you paid; it is never revised upwards for someone who already owns it.

It currently costs $341. It cannot be rented weekly.

You sign in with your email address, and you are responsible for keeping access to that inbox — it is how we know an account is yours. If you lose access to it, email us and we will help, but we may ask you to prove the purchase.

We may suspend an account we have good reason to believe is being used to share a licence with other people, or to attack the service. We will contact you before doing so unless the attack is in progress. Suspending an account never prevents you exporting your data.

Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every sale. They take the payment, charge any tax due in your country, issue the receipt, and are who appears on your card statement. Prices on this site are in US dollars and shown before any tax that Dodo adds at checkout.

We build these carefully and we test them hard, but no software is free of defects. The apps are provided as they are: we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they will suit a particular purpose you have in mind.

Several of these apps do arithmetic you might make decisions on — a retirement projection, a budget, a tax figure. They are tools for thinking, not financial, legal or medical advice, and you should not treat their output as a professional opinion.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not replace.

Not yet stated. LifeTime Apps is run by an individual and is not yet a registered company, and we would rather leave this blank than name a jurisdiction we cannot stand behind. It will be filled in here when the business is registered, and your statutory consumer rights in your own country apply regardless of what this section eventually says.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and — for anything significant — you get an email if you have an account. A change never applies retroactively to a licence you have already bought: the terms you bought under are the terms you keep.
